Weston Beattie

What's up — the name's Wes. I've never been a fan of LinkedIn or social media, so I decided to build this website to use as my portfolio instead.

I'm a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture student at the University of Utah. I've lived in Utah for the past six years, and before that, Washington state. Before Washington, I was originally from California — my family moved north around the time my sister was born.

Moving around growing up gave me the chance to experience a lot of different walks of life and environments, and it's shaped how I see the world. All I've ever wanted to do is help people be happy, and somewhere along the way I realized architecture is how I can actually do that. It's not just about designing buildings — it's about designing how people live, connect, and experience their day-to-day. I want to help change the way our built environment shapes our lives, and hopefully build spaces that bring people together and make everyday moments a little better.
